How connecting works
When you open RankFrame in a Framer project for the first time, it asks you to connect your site. Connecting links your Framer project's published URL to your RankFrame account.
This is what allows RankFrame to read your page structure, scan your images, run audits, and push pages to Google on your behalf. Without a connected site, RankFrame cannot access any data about your pages.
Connecting your site does not modify your live Framer site. It is a read-only scan that builds a map of your site inside RankFrame.
Steps to connect your site
Open RankFrame in your Framer project: Click Plugins in the Framer toolbar and select RankFrame. If you have not installed it yet, see How to Install RankFrame in Framer.
Sign in or create your account: Sign in with your email and password, or use Continue with Google. If this is your first time, your account is created automatically.
Click Connect Site: RankFrame shows a Connect Site prompt with your Framer project's URL pre-filled. Confirm the URL is correct and click Connect.
Wait for the scan to complete: RankFrame scans your sitemap and image inventory. This takes a few seconds on most sites. Larger sites with hundreds of pages may take up to 30 seconds.
Complete Personalization: After connecting, RankFrame asks for your brand details. Fill in your Brand Name, Brand About, goals, industry, audience, and any competitor URLs. Click Save Settings. See Managing Your Account for a full breakdown of each field.
Your site must be published before RankFrame can connect. If you see a connection error, check that your Framer site is published and accessible at a public URL.
