This Privacy Policy describes how RankFrame ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. RankFrame is a product of 7 SEERS, a sole proprietorship registered in India.

By accessing or using our website and services, you consent to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of data when you use RankFrame:

Account password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text)
Profile preferences (email notifications, newsletter, usage analytics toggles)

Business Profile (provided during AI Personalisation onboarding)

Industry category
Business description
Target audience description
Primary SEO goals
Up to 5 competitor domains for benchmarking

Website and SEO Data

Connected Framer website domain
Page URLs and structure
Page titles, meta descriptions, and headings
Focus keywords and keyword research data
Schema markup you create or generate
Image URLs and associated alt text
404 error logs from your connected sites
SEO audit results and historical scores

Google Integration Data
When you connect your Google account, we receive and process:

Your Google account email
OAuth access and refresh tokens (used solely to maintain your Search Console connection)
Google Search Console performance data (clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, queries, pages, countries, devices)
URL indexing status

Image Data for AI Alt Text Generation
When you generate AI alt text, the relevant image content is processed by our AI provider strictly for the purpose of generating alt text. Images are not stored long-term beyond what is required to deliver the service.

Payment Information
All payment transactions are handled by Polar.sh. We do not directly store credit or debit card numbers. Polar collects and stores billing data on our behalf, including:

Name and billing address
Tax ID (where applicable, for example EU VAT)
Country and postal code
Subscription and invoice history

Technical Data

IP address
Browser type and version
Device information
Cookies and session identifiers
Usage analytics (feature interactions, session duration)

2. How We Use Your Data

We collect and process your data with your consent for the following purposes:

To create and manage your RankFrame account.
To provide access to paid features and manage subscriptions.
To deliver the SEO functionality of the product (audits, schema generation, indexing, keyword research, alt text generation, and so on).
To send product updates, onboarding materials, and support responses.
To improve our features, performance, and user experience.
To analyse aggregated usage data (via Google Analytics).
To ensure legal and financial compliance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties beyond the integrations described in section 4.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how users interact with RankFrame and to improve our experience.

Cookies may be used to:

Maintain your login and session.
Measure engagement and page views.
Track usage patterns for analytics.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may impact functionality.

4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

RankFrame relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each is bound by its own privacy policy.

Polar.sh: payment processing, subscriptions, tax, and invoicing.
Google (Search Console, Indexing API, PageSpeed Insights, OAuth, Analytics): indexing, SEO data retrieval, performance metrics, authentication, and usage analytics.
AI providers: used to generate AI-powered titles, descriptions, schema content, and image alt text. Only the data required to fulfil each generation request is shared.
Cloud hosting providers: used to host RankFrame application data securely.

We share only the minimum data required to deliver each feature. We do not share your data for advertising or resale purposes.

5. Payments and Security

All payment transactions are handled securely via Polar.sh.

We do not store or access your credit or debit card details directly.
Polar.sh uses encryption, TLS, and strict access controls to protect your payment data.
Data exchanged between RankFrame and our integrated services is encrypted in transit using TLS.
Account credentials are stored as salted hashes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as long as necessary to provide services.

Once an account is deleted, all associated personal data is permanently removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required under applicable Indian laws or for legitimate financial and tax record-keeping.

7. International Data Transfers

RankFrame is operated from India. Some of our service providers (including Polar.sh, Google, and AI providers) may process data in jurisdictions outside India, including the United States and the European Union.

Where data is transferred internationally, we and our processors apply appropriate safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, and contractual data protection commitments.

8. Your Rights

You may:

Request access to your personal data.
Request correction of any inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Withdraw consent at any time.
Request export of your data in a portable format.

For any such requests, email us at hello@7seersmedia.com. Once your account is deleted, we remove all stored data associated with it, subject to the retention rules described above.

9. Children's Privacy

RankFrame is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect or store any personal data from users under 16.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us at hello@7seersmedia.com to request data removal.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or legal requirements. When we do, we will update the Effective Date above. We encourage you to review this page regularly.
