Before you start
You need two things before installing RankFrame.
A Framer account. RankFrame is a Framer-native plugin and lives inside the Framer editor.
A Framer project connected to a published or staging site. RankFrame reads your site's page structure on first load.
You do not need a RankFrame account before installing. Your account is created automatically on first launch.
Installation steps
Framer plugins do not require a download or installation file. You open them directly from inside Framer.
Open your Framer project: Go to framer.com and open the project you want to add RankFrame to. You need to be inside the Framer editor, not the dashboard.
Click the Plugins button: Find the Plugins button in the Framer toolbar. It appears in the top bar of the editor. Click it to open the Plugin panel.
Search for RankFrame: Type RankFrame in the search field inside the Plugin panel. The RankFrame plugin appears in the results. You can also browse to the SEO category to find it.
Open RankFrame: Click RankFrame in the results. The plugin opens immediately in your project as a side panel. There is no separate install confirmation step.
Create your account or sign in: If this is your first time, RankFrame shows a sign-up screen. Enter your email and set a password, or continue with Google Auth. Your account is created instantly.
Connect your site: After signing in, RankFrame asks you to connect the Framer site for this project. Click Connect Site. RankFrame scans your site structure and loads your pages automatically.
You can also find RankFrame on the Framer Plugin Marketplace. Click Open plugin in and choose your project from the dropdown.
What happens on first launch
The first time RankFrame loads in your project, it shows the Personalization setup screen. This is not optional. It runs before any AI feature becomes available.
Personalization asks for your brand name, a description of what your business does, your main goals, industry, target audience, and any competitor URLs you want RankFrame to be aware of.
This data feeds every AI output in RankFrame: meta titles, meta descriptions, image alt text, and schema field suggestions. Without it, AI generates generic copy. With it, AI writes copy that sounds like your brand.
Personalization data is saved to your account, not your Framer project. If you open RankFrame in a different project, your Personalization settings carry over automatically.
Troubleshooting
RankFrame does not appear in search results
Make sure you are searching inside the Framer Plugin panel, not the Framer asset or component search. The Plugin panel opens from the Plugins button in the top toolbar. If RankFrame still does not appear, try searching for "7 Seers" instead.
The plugin opens but does not load
Refresh the Framer editor by pressing Command + R (Mac) or Ctrl + R (Windows). If the issue persists, check that your browser allows third-party cookies. RankFrame uses cookies for authentication.
The site connection step fails
RankFrame needs access to your published Framer site to scan your page structure. If you have not published your project yet, publish it first from the Framer toolbar, then re-open RankFrame.
Something else is wrong
Contact support at hello@7seersmedia.com. Include your Framer project URL and a screenshot of the error if possible.
