This update fixes how Image SEO saves alt text, and makes Basic SEO read-only.

Image SEO

• Alt text generated for CMS images is now saved to your CMS.

• Each image keeps its resolution setting when its alt text is saved.

• RankFrame now checks that the alt text was saved in Framer before showing success, and shows an error if it wasn't.

• Alt text can only be generated on your site's default language, so no credit is spent on a language where it can't be saved.

• RankFrame checks your Framer edit access before generating, so no credit is spent if your role can't edit that image.

• Images inside CMS gallery fields are not listed for now.

Basic SEO

• Current Title and Current Description are now read-only. Copy the AI-written versions into your page settings in Framer. See Page Title and Description.
